Welcome fellow Porsche enthusiasts!
Do you own (or plan to!) a Porsche 986 Boxster S, or a 987 Boxster / Cayman S? Love the car, the sound, the handling BUT wish it had more POWER? Then join the club! After a string of turbo charged Japanese sports cars, I’ve made the switch to a 986 Boxster S, and couldn’t be happier… almost.
I bought the Boxster knowing full well that it would not have enough power to satisfy, especially given the car it was replacing was replacing was producing over 330kW / 440HP!
However, I had a plan. Prior to buying the car I researched the possibility of forced induction, either adding a turbo or supercharger to the Boxster, giving it that extra punch that Porsche SHOULD have supplied the car with – however they couldn’t upstage the beloved Carrera! More on that subject later…
